Desert Girls Lose Another Close One!

The DCHS JV girls traveled to Scottsdale Christian Academy this weekend and played a very impressive game!
They were down late in the game and fought hard to get back even with the SCA Eagles. Unfortunately, the SCA coach figured out that the press was effective against Desert! Otherwise, Coach Peddy is sure they would have been able to win the game.
The team's first home game will be this Saturday, Dec 18th @ 2:30! Come out and cheer on your Desert Christian Eagles!!
JV Girls Lose in a Tight One!

In their first game of the season, the JV Girls basketball team had a great effort against Horizon Honors. In the closest game of all four teams, the JV only lost by three points.
The Eagles were down by 9 at the start of the fourth quarter, but were able to fight back and tie it up! Then with 12 seconds to go, Horizon hit a three to win the game. Great effort, girls!
They travel next to take on Baboquivari. Good luck!
